NRP is a leading Norwegian manager and facilitator of direct investments within the maritime space, private maritime funds, and a financial advisor within debt and financing. We develop our projects through proactive co-operation and close dialogue with our investors, ship owners, shipbrokers, advisors and commercial banks. All the companies that provide these services are licensed by the Norwegian FSA.

Direct Investments

NRP is a leading Norwegian manager of direct investments within real estate, shipping and offshore. We develop our projects through proactive co-operation and close dialogue with property owners, real estate developers, real estate brokers, shipowners, shipbrokers, advisors and commercial banks.

Within shipping and offshore, our approach is global. We are project oriented and can consider all segments.

We have experience from dry bulk, container, tanker, LPG, RoRo and reefer within shipping. In the offshore sector we have experience from PSV, AHTS, Subsea, Construction and seismic. We have been involved in more than 220 transactions and currently have about USD 500 million (Q1-2021) under management. Our sweet spot is sale-lease back with a bareboat contract, which provides a fixed income type of product. Given the right market environment, we also carry out asset play transactions with shorter holding periods.

Private Maritime Funds

NRP Maritime Asset Management AS (MAM) is a licensed AIF Manager with focus and expertise on the Maritime sector. The maritime team has over 40 years of combined experience in the Maritime sector and has since the inception of the first Premium Maritime Fund in 2015 built a solid track record that now consists of three funds.

MAM has a strong focus on preservation of investor capital in an industry well known for its volatility. Since launching the first fund MAM has employed a successful risk mitigating multi-segment strategy, and by staying independent from any deal provider the team has full access to a strong deal flow through their large international network.

Today, MAM manages more than NOK 600 million of capital on behalf of clients, all real assets well diversified over the three main shipping sectors: commodity, industrial and oil service.

In 2021, NRP MAM will be launching Premium Maritime Credit Fund. The fund will be a Luxembourg domiciled RAIF, established to capitalize on the increasing funding gap created by the traditional senior lending banks retracting from the industry. A gap created due to regulatory constraints that enables the fund to achieve high single digit returns on first priority asset-backed lending towards small, but high-quality shipowners in a liquid market with solid downside protection.
