NRP Green Transition I is dedicated to making sustainable investments in Nordic industrial cleantech companies, focusing on energy transition and resource efficiency themed ventures. We invest in capital light companies with moderate technical risk and an industrial cleantech angle, seeking to deliver positive environmental impact and long-term capital appreciation through our robust strategy and rigorous approach to active ownership.

About Green Transition

The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long term capital appreciation through making sustainable investments in accordance with SFDR Article 9 fund requirements.

We fund and support competent and visionary management teams with strong execution capabilities, focusing on businesses with capacities to make positive sustainable impact and financial gains through smart transition solutions within multiple of industries and solid scalability potential beyond the Nordic region.

We believe the Nordic region will continue to be the prime breeding ground for energy transition and resource innovation for many years to come.

Investment characteristics

We target energy transition and resource efficiency themed venture companies in the Nordics with a proven technology, product or service offering that has reached the commercialization phase with a clear competitive advantage and capital light business model.

Through active ownership we aim to accelerate the growth of the businesses by developing game plans catered to industrial buyers and leveraging ESG to deliver quantifiable impact through our investments.

We seek to invest NOK 50-150 million per portfolio company and build a portfolio of +/- 10 investment positions to achieve an attractive risk/return profile.
